Cividale del Friuli · UNESCO World Heritage
A family guest house on the Natisone river — where stone, slow mornings, and golden light shape every stay.
Book NowOur Story
Casa Natisone has been in our family for three generations. Tucked between the medieval stone lanes of Cividale del Friuli — a UNESCO World Heritage site — and the emerald banks of the Natisone River, our home is an invitation to travel slowly.
Mornings begin with bread from the village bakery, jams from our garden, and coffee on the terrace as the golden hour spills across the Devil's Bridge. Evenings end with a glass of Friulano in the courtyard, beneath a sky that still remembers the Lombards who walked these streets.
We're a small house — only a few rooms — by design. We'd rather know your name than fill every bed. Welcome to the rhythm of Friuli.
The Rooms
Each room is finished in warm stone, terracotta, and the soft greens of the river. No two are alike — but all share the same quiet.
Our largest room, with original timber beams and a window over the rooftops toward the Natisone valley.
A serene double facing the river, finished in pale stone and linen — built for unhurried mornings.
A cozy nook tucked under the eaves, named for the medieval bridge just steps from our door.
